NO ONE SHOULD PARK ON GEORGIA STREET TO WAIT FOR CHECK-IN!  THE POLICE DEPARTMENT WILL SHUT DOWN THE STREET AND ANY VEHICLES LEFT ON GEORGIA STREET AT THIS TIME WILL BE SUBJECT TO TOW.

Check-in for those that actually vend from within their trailer (not just transports merchandise/items/materials via a trailer) will be Friday, October 16th starting at 5:00 p.m. at 301 South Main Street Louisiana, Missouri.  Check-in will be open for UP TO two (2) hours.  If you cannot check-in during this time frame you MUST contact us as soon as possible.  Trailers that have to be set in place before tents and other booths must not try to set up on Saturday morning.  If you've attended Colorfest before you know that there is not a great deal of maneuvering room once vendors start setting up and we need all trailers to be in place as early as possible after the street is shut down.

Check-in for everyone else will begin no earlier than 6:00 p.m. and will be handled at the south entrance to the municipal parking lot adjacent to the Caboose on South 4th Street.  This is across the street from the small park at the corner of Georgia and 4th Street.  Absolutely no one will check-in at this location earlier than 6:00 p.m. and check-in will not be available at this location after 8:00 p.m.--our volunteers have many jobs!

FOOD VENDORS:  If you sell food you either need a County Food Permit or you will have to fill out the application for the temporary 3 day permit ($10.00) which is listed on the application.  You will fill out the paperwork at check in.  When you return the food permit application to the check-in attendant you will receive a 'Temporary Food Permit' which is the indication to the County Health Inspector that you have the information required.  The County Health Inspector will inspect each food booth Saturday Morning for compliance with requirements.  Anyone not in compliance will be given a chance to correct any issues and be re-inspected.  If you are unsure of the requirements please view the FOOD SAFETY files below (Food Vendor Information).  This information will also be available at check-in.

ALL VENDORS:  You will be provided a Missouri Concessionaires Report for Missouri State and County/Municipal taxes.  This will have attached the appropriate tax chart.  A list of all vendors participating in the Louisiana Country Colorfest is required by the state of Missouri Department of Revenue within 10 days of the event's closing.

ELECTRICAL:  All electrical connections (without exception!) will be completed by the Louisiana Country Colorfest electricians.  There will be a minimum of two people to complete these connections.  All receptacles are powered off until they power them on and they are the only ones with the keys to the panels.  The safety of all festival participants is priority one!  Additional electrical information can be found in the ELECTRIC file below:
