There are still a few booth spaces available for this year's festival.
Vendors arriving for check in must come to the Riverfront Park Area.  In years past the check in area was at the Caboose at 4th and Georgia Street.  There will not be anyone there to check you in, you must come to the Riverfront.  Please use South Carolina Street East to the Riverfront and PARK in the Boat Ramp parking lot.  Then come to the check in table.  There will be signs directing you and you will receive the information you need for the festival including your assigned booth space.  Check in will NOT start until 6 p.m. and will NOT go past 9 p.m.  No exceptions.

This is a two day festival. 
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and vendors must remain in their
assigned space and in operation the two (2) days of Colorfest
Spaces may NOT be vacated earlier than 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday
Any vendor violating the regulations may not be approved for future vendor booth space.
All spaces MUST be vacated BEFORE 7 p.m. Sunday October 19th, 2008 unless authorized by
Louisiana Country Colorfest Chairperson

The Louisiana Country Colorfest reserves the right to reject any vendor application with or without cause.

There is absolutely NO CAMPING allowed in the vending areas or adjoining side streets.  City ordinance does not allow it.

No selling of potentially dangerous or drug related paraphernalia is allowed.  Exhibits attempting to display any specifically prohibited items or any item which is deemed to be offensive, lewd or in poor taste may be closed at the discretion of the Colorfest Committee and any fee(s) of the violator will be forfeited.

Check in and set up times for Vendors--All vendors utilizing trailers must be set up on Friday evening.  Check in time starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. on Friday October 17th, 2008
Any remaining vendors not checked in Friday may check in Saturday October 18th starting at 7 a.m.  Any vendor not checked in and set up BEFORE 10 a.m. on Saturday October 18th will be subject to forfeiture of rental fee(s) and space may be re-rented at the discretion of the Louisiana Country Colorfest Committee.  Any special arrangements must be made in advance.

 There are three types of contracts for vendors at Louisiana Country Colorfest.

All vendors selling food must have a food contract.  According to the type of food being handled, a temporary food permit may be required and is listed on the application.  The cost for the temporary food permit is $10.00 and is to be paid to the Louisiana Country Colorfest.  The permit application will be completed at check in and a permit issued.  The Pike County Health Inspector will conduct all food inspections on Saturday Morning.

Craft vendors can be indoors or outdoors.  Indoor spaces are limited so application should be made as early as possible.
Only arts and crafts of good taste and of original design and execution by the applicant will be accepted.  Commercially produced items are prohibited.

Buy/Sell vendors are outdoors.  This is the category that covers all other vendors including information booths, commercially produced items, craft items not fitting into craft vendor category and other than craft items.

 Deadlines to receive entries and all applicable fees for vendors:  October 1st, 2008.  Be sure to get your application in early, spaces fill up quickly and spaces with electricity available are limited.
